2. Data We Collect

Account Data

When you register, we collect your name and email address. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is processed by our payment provider (Stripe) and we do not store your full card details.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the Service, including which tools you access, the number of queries made, and general interaction patterns. This is used to provide the Service, enforce plan limits, and improve Zyon-AI.

Content Data

We process the prompts and content you submit to Zyon-AI tools ("Input") to generate responses ("Output"). Input is transmitted to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your response. We do not store your Input or Output beyond the duration of your session unless you explicitly save content within the platform.

Technical Data

We collect standard technical information including IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This information is used for security, fraud prevention, and platform improvement.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

• Contract performance — Processing your account data and content to provide the Service you have signed up for
• Legitimate interests — Security monitoring, fraud prevention, and platform improvement analytics
• Legal obligation — Retaining transaction records as required by applicable law

• Anthropic — AI model provider that processes your prompts to generate responses. Anthropic's data processing agreement applies.
• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant.
• Netlify — Hosting and infrastructure provider.
• Email service provider — For transactional and marketing emails.

We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active plus 3 years after closure, to comply with legal obligations. Session content (prompts and outputs) is not retained beyond your session. Transaction records are retained for 10 years as required by Swiss accounting law.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Rectification — Correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session and authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics that track you across websites.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive data, access controls limiting staff access to personal data, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

10. International Transfers

Zyon-AI is operated from Switzerland. Your data may be processed by our service providers in the United States (Anthropic, Stripe) under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards that comply with GDPR requirements for international data transfers.
